Fire Hazard: Tree Candles

Writer's picture: Manitoba Electrical MuseumManitoba Electrical Museum

For All That Glows this year we have a new temporary mini-exhibit in the lower level. The holiday season is a time for celebration, gratitude, and connection with loved ones. But amidst all the hustle and bustle, it can be easy to forget basic safety practices. This exhibit highlights fire and chemical hazards from the past and present, but there are many hazards we have not included.

From fire hazards to Arsenic hazards, check out some holiday hazards throughout the eras.

Here is a sneak peek of one of the hazards: Tree Candles.

This mini-exhibit will be on display until January 9th.
